The YSC40 grapple arm spreader has fully retractable grapple arms for block stacking operations.
The spreader is capable of top-lifting 20’, 30’ or 40’ ISO containers, as well as bottom lifting containers and swap bodies at 4876 mm centres, up to 9’6” high and 2,6 m wide.
Grapple arms lower automatically from the parked to the lifting position. Prior to lifting, the grapple arms squeeze automatically to ensure correct location in the container or swap body grapple pockets.
Incorporated in the 4 grapple feet are sensors which ensure that hoisting can only occur if all 4 feet are correctly engaged, and that disengagement will not occur during hoisting.
