Factory Refurbishment can add five or more years to the life of the spreader

Extending spreader life maximizes the long-term value of your spreader fleet

Your terminal's spreader fleet is a major capital investment. Bromma factory refurbishment is one way to maximize its long-term value.

Evaluation of Spreader Condition
Factory refurbishment begins with a thorough inspection of the spreader structure, as well as its sub-systems and components. Inspection determines not only the present fitness of a spreader, but its suitability for refurbishment.

Refurbishment
The goal of factory refurbishment is to add five or more years to the reliable life of your spreader. Typical areas for refurbishment include:

  • New electrics
  • New hydraulics
  • New end beams
  • New flipper arms
  • New twistlocks
  • A new telescopic chain and/or new sliding pads.

Bromma has unparalleled spreader knowledge, and as such is best qualified to refurbish them. Transportation costs to/from a Bromma factory are reasonable, and refurbishment can be performed swiftly and scheduled in a manner that will limit disruption to your normal container handling activities.

Damage Repair
Spreaders damaged in terminal accidents can be factory repaired at Bromma plants. Damage repair begins with an on-site evaluation of spreader condition and the preparation of a report for distribution to terminal staff, insurers, and other third parties. Factory repair of the spreader structure and/or sub-systems is performed at Bromma factories in Scandinavia and Asia.
